We were thrilled to be the agency appointed to rebrand Coast. The brief was to change the perception of Coast from a brand known for bridal wear to a brand for dressing-up for special occasions. The new brand embraces shades of gold and silver, feminine but confident typography and the graphic use of bold stripes.
With over 350 stores worldwide, our design deliverables included many forms of packaging from carrier bags in different sizes, shoe and delivery boxes, cloth and poly bags to luxury tissue paper and a family of stickers and labels. Further to this we designed clothing back neck labels, swing tickets, business stationery, guidelines and advised on the incorporation of the new brand look into digital media such as the website, e-newsletters, internal comms such as PowerPoint and the Coast intranet.
