One of the most enjoyable projects ever was the design of a toy for The HappySelf Journal in collaboration with Noodoll. We call the toy ‘Cookie’ but in reality it doesn’t have a name, we leave it up to the children to choose their own. Cookie is one of the characters in the journal, it has a confident, playful personality and can be seen eating cookies, yawning, gardening and hugging. The toy version of Cookie has small happy flappy wings, a scalloped belly and squidgy little horns. The quality of the toy itself is wonderful, my nieces take theirs to bed every night. The process of transforming a two-dimensional illustration into a three-dimensional fabric toy was brillaint, we learnt a lot and were very appreciative of the support from toy wizards Noodoll.
