Copyright of design work
The client is given access to the final chosen design and only receives an exclusive licence to use that design and concept for the particular project for which it was created. Plait Creative remain the owners of all original artwork and design files. The granting of this copyright does not extend to commissioned photography, illustration or any other third parties. Files are kept on our main server for 12 months. After this time a fee is charged to retrieve files from our archive.
Images from this website can not be used by any other business for promotion or otherwise.
Confidentiality
It is agreed that Plait Creative shall not at any time, either during the continuance of the work outlined or thereafter, except on the course of their duties, divulge any of the confidential affairs of the client or any of its clients or associated companies to anyone whatsoever without the previous consent in writing of the client.
Force Majeure
Plait Creative shall not be liable for any delay in performing any of its obligations hereunder if such delay is caused by a third party or circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Plait Creative. Project management does not include project management of third parties that the client has chosen to work with or the project management of the client. Time estimates for completion of work are estimates only and not guarantees. Compensation will not be payable if estimated timescales are not met.
Business hours
The studio hours of Plait Creative are 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday. Emails and phone calls will be responded to outside of these hours only at the discretion of Plait Creative.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms of use at any time by amending this page.
Please check this page from time to time to take notice of any changes we made, as they are binding on you.
